Two New Toys - the A780 and the USB PIC

Got two interesting things to experiment with yesterday - the Motorola Linux smartphone A780 and the PIC18F2455,a flash PIC with USB 2.0 support.

There is a project underway to provide a 100% free software stack for the A780, the OpenEZX project. Will try to get a few students interested in this…stay tuned for more info …

It is some time since I have been looking for a simple solution to implement USB connectivity - flash microcontrollers implementing USB functionality were hard to get in unit quantity in India - but I have found out a vendor who is supplying PIC18F2455 (and related PICS), Future Techniks.
