Drive to eliminate propreitary bias from syllabus

If you see a University insisting that its student’s learn wordprocessing with MS-WORD, do visual programming with VB and stuff like that, please note it down at this page:

    I had a great problem during the final semester. We had a multimedia lab and we were enforced to use VB(Visual Basic). It was supposed to be a pathetic lab. The staff was not even bothered about any alternative tool in gnu/linux.
