I will be at C.K.G.M College, Perambra on 18th to teach a few simple numpy/scipy/matplotlib tricks as part of a seminar on Python and Free Software in Mathematics. More info here: pyseminar.pdf The Calicut University BSc Informatics paper will be based on Free Software; and mathematics students will get a chance to work on stuff like scipy/numpy as part of their course.
